JAKARTA – The smartphone gaming market is on the rise. Seeing the market potential, Qualcom released System-on-Chip A new (SoC) that focuses on gaming capabilities, namely the Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G.

In terms of specifications, the Snapdragon 865 Plus uses a Qualcomm KryoTM 585 Prime CPU construction with clock speed core up to 3.1 GHz. This chipset is supported by Snapdragon Elite Gaming via GPU Adreno 650, so it provides graphics rendering capabilities 10 percent faster than the regular version.
There is also a FastConnect 6900 suite of wireless connectivity in Snapdragon 865 Plus technology. This means that users will have support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
ASUS ROG 3 and Lenovo Legion
It is known that the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor will be embedded in two high-end gaming smartphones this year, namely the Asus ROG Phone 3 and the Lenovo Legion. It is planned that the two PC and laptop gaming sub-brands will release their gaming phones in the third quarter of 2020.
