JAKARTA – Not only brought Redmi 9, Xiaomi also brought it flagship smartphone newest from sub-brand Pocophone namely, Poco F2 Pro. This is the successor series of the Pocophone F1 which was popular two years ago in Indonesia.
“We are very happy to bring this back to Indonesia. Two years ago I came to Indonesia for the first time to introduce Poco, we are back,” said Head of Global Poco, Alvin Tse at the launch of Poco F2 Pro, Tuesday, July 14.
Carrying the tagline ‘Powerfully Cool Performance’, Poco F2 Pro will continue the title flagship killer smartphone, since the Pocophone F1. Where it has a myriad of premium class cellphone specifications, but at an affordable price.
“This smartphone focuses on performance, so it is dubbed the flagship killer and is liked by many people,” said Alvin.

As the flagship killer, the Poco F2 Pro is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset from Qualcomm. System-on-Chip (SoC) carries an 8-core Processor architecture with clock speed up to 2.84Ghz in 7nm fabrication and has supported 5G networks.
To boost its performance, the chipset is paired with 8GB RAM of type LPDDR5, and UFS 3.1 internal memory with a capacity of up to 256GB. As a result, the Poco F2 Pro Antutu Benchmark test score reached 574,136 points.
With a high-end kitchen, this phone requires that this phone has good heat management. Where Xiaomi provides the Poco F2 Pro with a cooling system in the form of LiquidCool 2.0 combined with Super Vapor Chamber technology to reduce excess heat on the surface of the cellphone.
Alvin also explained that this flagship smartphone is equipped with a Super AMOLED screen measuring 6.67 inches with HDR 10+ support. Poco also promises improved image quality with a resolution of 1080p + refresh rate 60Hz.
On this front, Poco embeds a fingerprint sensor on the screen and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.Poco also removes the notch or the selfie camera, thus making the ratio screen-to-body by 92.7 percent.
In exchange for loss notch, Poco F2 Pro carries a pop-up mechanism camera panel with a resolution of 20MP. On the back, Poco features a camera configuration using a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor as the main lens, a 123-degree 13MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP telephoto, and a 2MP depth sensor with AI Portrait Mode.
Regarding durability, the Poco F2 Pro has a battery with a capacity of 4,700 mAh with support for 30W fast charging. That means the Poco F2 Pro can charge the battery up to 100 percent in just 63 minutes.

As for the software, the Poco F2 Pro runs Android 10 with Poco Launcher 2.0. Finally, some of the features that are still present on the Poco F2 Pro are a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, dual SIM, and an IR blaster.
For the price itself, Xiaomi provides two variants of storage memory that potential buyers can choose from. There is the Poco F2 Pro with 6GB / 128GB RAM offered at a price of IDR 6,999,000 while the Poco F2 Pro with 8GB / 256GB RAM is priced at IDR 7,999,000.
